Is there Life After Death?

Many people wander whether there is really life after death. The commonly asked questions include: Can man life forever? If one dies what happens after death? Does one need to worry about what happens after death or one should enjoy maximally here on earth and forget about what will happen next?

If we use simple reasoning from the time one was still in the mother's womb during pregnancy up to birth and coming into this world, one can learn some important lessons to help think about what is likely to happen after death.

The fetus while in her mother’s womb fully enjoys that kind of environment and the food that comes from the mother's umbilical cord. No need to worry about life after then or the type of climate, food or friends who will be in the universe! If anyone mentions that there is a different king of life after the womb to the fetus, it is unbelievable and not worth accepting.

However, as time passes by and the child continues to grow, reality sets in and after 9 months she comes to the border of the mother’s womb and the outside environment. If there is chance by all means, the child would desire to stay in the comfortable environment but unfortunately, she has to face the reality! The first cry as the child is being born is an indicator of leaving the comfort joining a life of hardships.

What happens to the friends left behind? They too cry, lament and grieve to the loss of their beloved friend while those in the world rejoice as they receive their new born child with celebrations in this world.

Thomas Choo tells us in her book "Heaven is So Real" how she visited heaven 17 times, 2 times she was in hell and 10 times with Jesus Christ. This and many other testimonies of those who have gone there before should open the eyes of those who still doubt to see that there is life after death.

In view of this, one should not only eat, drink and celebrate here in this world but should also give a careful thought about life after death. Jesus Christ stated that "..I will go to prepare places for you, then I will come and take you where I am..". By this He meant heaven.
